When I travel I am always on the lookout for jewellery as I love the accessories I wear to have a story - no matter what the cost or where they come from there needs to be a reason why I wear it. I love looking down at my rings or bracelets and remembering the day I got them, where I was and why I loved/purchased it!!
My boyfriends parents recently went to Brazil for a holiday and to visit family. When I was asked before they left if there was anything I would like I immediately said jewellery and it was love at first site when they gave me this on their arrival home.

Now I need to get a chain to put it on before summer as I know I am going to want to wear it a lot then!

The stone is really pretty & I believe it probably is a Rhodochrosite.
I don't know what kind it is, but that stone is beautiful.
